How do I start dictating?
Install the app, verify email, download the local model and press Ctrl+Shift+Space.
Does audio leave my computer?
Not in Local Private. Smart receives recognized text. Separate cloud STT is always explicitly labeled.
When does the trial start?
Immediately after email verification. It lasts three days and uses daily limits.
Can I disable renewal?
Yes. Choose a one-time payment before checkout or cancel renewal in your account; access lasts until the period ends.
How many devices can I use?
Private supports 1, Smart 2 and Max 3 active desktop devices. Devices can be revoked from your account.
What is the recovery key?
It unlocks encrypted data on a new device. It is shown once and never sent to the server.
What about Linux and macOS?
Linux x64 is beta and X11 works better than Wayland. macOS follows signing and notarization.
How do I request a refund?
Contact business support within 7 days of the first payment. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
